ECLECTIC AETHER - Adventures with Amateur Radio

I'm sorry that my website hasn't been updated.

There are problems with the web editor interface, and updating existing pages is difficult.

In addition many of the links to older pages and images images have become corrupted due to changes made by the hosting company.

If you cannot find what you are looking for I suggest you try using the wayback machine and look at previously archived pages.

I run the WEB SDR IO group which is primarily aimed at WEB SDR admin's and owners with the aim of sharing experiences and technical expertise relating to operation and running of WEB SDR's

I also operate a number of public KiWi and other WEB SDR's, which cover various ranges of frequencies,  which are located in the South West of the UK.

0-30MHz - Very good performance and low noise floor, probably one of the best in the world.

0-65MHz - Very good performance and low noise floor, which also covers the VHF Low bands

Websdr covering 40, 50, 70, 144, 432, 434MHz & 10GHz Amateur Bands

OpenWebRX with a mixture of VHF and UHF Bands

0-30MHz - Very good performance and low noise floor, at another site in the South West UK

0-30MHz - Currently using a temporary antenna and its performance is not too good, however it can be useful for monitoring the VLF bands

Unfortunately our popular SW, VHF, UHF & Microwave WEB SDR at Farnham had to close down due to a change of site ownership.

Most of this has now been reactivated at the other sites.
